Apple took the aggressive approach by setting the iPad 2 price same as of the original iPad. As a result, the iPad 1 price drop continues globally and it’s not different even in Pakistan where iPad is not officially released. Several online retail stores have reduced the iPad price to certain degree and now you can get iPad 1 16 GB (WiFi) for as low as Rs. 50,000.
It makes sense, not only because Apple has set same price for iPad 2 as was for iPad 1 but also because Apple itself is offering $100 off of original iPad price.
